Fluted Decoration panel
What makes one fluted wall panel better than another?
MATERIAL & FINISHES

What is a fluted panel?
A fluted panel is a board or strip with rounded or square grooves running along its surface. The grooves create light and shadow, which gives walls a soft, elegant texture. You'll also hear them called slat panels or grooved wall panels.

WPC (Wood Plastic Composite)
A mix of wood powder/fibre and plastic (often PVC), pressed into shape by extrusion. Many WPC panels have hollow chambers inside to keep them lighter.
WPC: very good water resistance. For outdoor, use outdoor-grade WPC only; standard indoor panels can fade in direct sun.
PS (Polystyrene)
A lightweight plastic panel, the same plastic family as styrofoam but in a denser, solid form, with a printed or coloured surface film on top.
PS: water resistant indoors, but not for outdoor; sun and heat can damage it.
SOLID WOOD
Real wood slats cut from natural timber, such as oak, walnut, ash, or local hardwoods. Each piece has its own grain and colour, so no two walls look exactly the same.
Solid timber: can go outdoors only with the right hardwood, proper treatment and regular re-sealing. Otherwise it greys, cracks or rots.
ALUMINIUM ( POWDER COATED)
Aluminium strips or panels shaped into fluted profiles, then finished with a powder coating: a dry colour powder sprayed onto the metal and baked in an oven, forming a hard, even layer. Woodgrain looks are made by a heat-transfer printing process on top of the coating.
Aluminium: best for outdoor, rain and sun; won't rot or swell. Near the sea, choose a coastal-rated coating.
